Two Trees Sapphire S

CoreXY 3D printers fascinates me, and I love the fact that due to their cubed construction they are very sturdy which enables you to print at higher speeds with less noise in the prints. The motion system is also very interesting compared to cartesian 3D printers.

The Sapphire S is a reasonably priced CoreXY 3D printer that has a 32bit board, touch screen and linear rails. It is fairly simple though a bit time consuming to build, compared to many of the cartesian mostly prebuilt printers. However, it delivers excellent print quality and I really love mine.

Tevo Tornado 2019

Tevo Tornado

The Tornado was my first 3D printer, and I went for it after many hours of research. It suited my needs for a first printer: It had a large build volume, fast heating of the heatbed due to it being AC, it was of good quality and was priced well. Tevo Tornado is what many call a CR10 clone, and yes it's very similar, but it has several improvements like AC heatbed as previously mentioned and a upgradable mainboard, which makes it easy to install great stepper drivers like the TMC 2208's and LV8729.

I'm still very happy with mine, and it's among my best 3D printers with it's upgrades.

Creality Ender 3 220x220x250mm Print-Size

Creality Ender 3

The Ender 3 was my second 3D printer (It's not enough with only one!) The value for money on this printer is insane, and it is probably the most sold printer in 2018 and possibly 2019 as well so far. The print quality you could get from this printer is way above what you should expect from a printer in this price range. It's a great starter printer and it's quite easy to build and it is easy to upgrade, so make sure you check out my article "The best upgrades for Creality Ender 3".
